KIDS AGAINST HUNGER

On Friday February 10th, we will be doing our part to change the world 6 hungry children at a time!  We have taken on a challenge called "Kids Against Hunger", which is an assembly line of food packaging for children in need locally and abroad.  Holy Cross Academy's 160 students K-8, along with several businesses from Central Florida will be scooping, measuring, weighing, sealing, and packing meals which consist mainly of rice, beans, soy, and 21 vitamins and minerals. 

Each bag will feed 6 children and costs only $.17!   Already committed to assist on packaging day are Z88.3 for our entertainment, Publix Supermarkets,  Lake Mary Life Magazine, and many more!!  Join us in our goal to package 50,000 meals in 2 hours on Friday February 10th from 12:30-2:30p.  There is a suggested sponsorship donation of $35 per participant, to assist with the personal cost for each child to package about 206 meals in 2 hours!  If you are able to attend, and are not able to contribute financially - please come anyway - this is an experience you won't want to miss!!
