OUR MISSION
Holy Cross Lutheran Academy and Preschool is a Christ-centered community helping children and families to Live, Love, and Learn.
Live: empower the school community to grow and live as responsible Christian citizens
Love: nurture the faith of the school community to courageously show the love of Jesus in a changing world.
Learn: educate the whole child while providing excellent academics.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
To offer a safe and loving atmosphere for teaching God's Word and nurturing a faith in Christ.
To equip young people to share their faith and demonstrate it through service to the church, the community, and the nation.
To work closely with the home to properly educate each child.
To
provide a Christian based curriculum of academic excellence including
but not limited to: Religion, Mathematics, Social Studies, Language
Arts, Physical Education, Science, Fine Arts, Spanish, Creative and
Dramatic Arts, Music, while fostering a love and appreciation of God.
To evaluate student's progress with periodic
assessments including but not limited to: standardized tests, anecdotal
records, portfolios, and other assessments.
