LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL

2011 - 2012 School Year

It is such an exciting time at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy as we continue to grow in both our faith and numbers.  We are currently experiencing one of our highest growth rates and have reached our highest enrollment levels across all grades.  Our school theme this year is “Tell the Story” after Matthew 28:19-20.  We will explore and learn how to not only spread the good news about Jesus but how we can live the story, our story.  

We strive to prepare our students for life in the 21st century by instilling the necessary problem solving, coping and intellectual skills needed to be future leaders.  Our students score, on average, 1 to 2 years ahead of their peers on national academic achievement tests.  Even though we take our test scores very seriously, we believe that each student is more than a test score, they are all individuals with unique talents and gifts from God.  As such, we have continued to expand our investments in technology and digital media resources for the classroom, expanded our arts, music and sports programs and will be introducing more after school clubs and activities this year.  

We thank God for all of the wonderful and dedicated teachers, supportive and loving families and bright and eager students.  They are all blessings that have helped us to continue to be a vital part of our community – we are here to educate the whole child: academic, physical and spiritual.
